Documents to be completed in duplicate, stating full names of grantors (as recorded on the previous title) and on incoming IDs (for purchasers); Declarations of Identity when names are different
Full address to be stated, including district and postal /zip code, where applicable
Schedule to reflect Entry/Plan, Lot/Block # and size
Original or certified I. Ds for all parties involved in the transaction, witnessed by a Justice of the Peace or Notary Public
Final Approval if a private Entry (not a government Plan) is shown in the Schedule
Entry or Survey Plan signed and stamped by Surveys & Mapping
Updated tax statement showing a zero balance
Copy of previous title
Original or certified corporate documents, where applicable (Certificate of Incorporation or Good Standing, and List of Directors
Original Grant of Probate/Grant of Administration (and a photocopy to be presented for certification at the Registry)
Complete and attach a Submission Form

Even if these requirements are completed your documents may still be returned, as each is unique, and it is not possible to address all scenarios in this checklist. The Land Registry can provide you with generic advice regarding the submission of documents either by visiting our counter at the Land Registry in Belmopan, weekdays between 8:00am and 5:00pm, or by calling 828-5075 or 828-5078. You are encouraged to contact us in advance of your submission, to avoid any subsequent delays.
PLEASE NOTE THAT DOCUMENTS MUST BE SUBMITTED WITHIN 1 MONTH (LOCAL)/3 MONTHS (ABROAD) FROM THE DATE OF EXECUTION, OR IT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
